Hashtag Generator
Get a selection of hashtags suited to your topic and target network. Each platform has its own conventions: what works on Instagram doesn't have the same effect on LinkedIn.

Generate 18 relevant hashtags with AI for your social network.
How to use this tool
- 1
Describe your post
State the theme, the sector and the target audience. A vague topic produces vague hashtags.
- 2
Choose the network
Recommendations differ by platform, in both quantity and style.
- 3
Select, don't copy everything
Keep the ones that genuinely describe your content. An inaccurate hashtag attracts an audience that won't stay.
Hashtags don't work the same way everywhere
On Instagram, hashtags were long a major discovery channel. Their role has shrunk as the platform leaned harder into interest-based recommendation. Thirty are still allowed, but a handful of precise tags now outperforms an exhaustive list.
On LinkedIn the convention is far more restrained: three hashtags is enough, and past five a post starts to look like spam in a professional feed. TikTok sits between the two, with tags serving categorisation more than search.
The most common mistake is chasing the most popular hashtags. A tag followed by millions of accounts buries your post within seconds. A niche tag, less crowded, puts you in front of an audience that genuinely cares — and that's the one that engages.
Building an effective selection
- Mix volumes: a few broad tags, several niche ones.
- On Instagram, five to ten precise hashtags is plenty.
- On LinkedIn, three maximum.
- Vary your hashtags between posts rather than pasting the same list.
- Check what content already sits under a hashtag before using it.
Frequently asked questions
How many hashtags should I use on Instagram?
The limit is 30, but five to ten well-chosen hashtags generally outperform a full list.
Where should hashtags go?
In the caption or the first comment — the result is equivalent. The first comment simply keeps the caption cleaner.
Should I target the most popular hashtags?
No. The busier a hashtag, the faster your post disappears in it. Niche tags reach a smaller but far more relevant audience.
Do hashtags still work?
Their weight has declined in favour of algorithmic recommendation, but they retain a useful categorisation role, especially on LinkedIn and TikTok.
